Michael Franti- A Musical Artist with World Vision

Dear Michael Franti,

I just recently heard your CD that you recorded with your band Spearhead, called Everyone Deserves Music. It is AWESOME! I am a musician and a singer, not professional or well known. I have always been open minded to many good styles of music.I have been a private music teacher, a praise and worship team member, and I am just someone who loves to play instruments, and someone who has been gifted to create original music. I am writing this letter to you today, not because I have a lust for you as an entertainer but to support you in all the efforts to getting your message to the World.

Your lyrics are a fantastic way to making us aware of global problems. War is all around us. The physical and moneterial efforts that the world's leaders and governments are putting out will soon wither into nothing. I have never read your biography to find out about your position in politics or religion. I see that you want to reach ALL Nations with your musical methods. I just wanted to let everyone know that the cause you and your fellow musicians, and song writers are providing has made an impact on my awareness.

To debate these worldly issues that you have sung about, even those issues in personal relationships that you share with us in beautiful song, would only destroy one's vision and corporate efforts to devise a plan to cope, compensate or even create a solution. You have put out a cry into the deserts of peoples' minds to get rid of Hatred and Destruction. I am thrilled that you have the musical priveledge to do that.

I hope that maybe someday we will meet, if not in this earthly place, but in the New Paradise. Your music fills the Soul. Your message of Love for the needy in all nations is there. Your gift is from God and He has blessed you.
