I found a pebble
in the rain
That really seemed
to shine.
It was small
and nameless
I took it and
called it mine.
I cleaned it
Until it gave a shine
put it secretly away.
Its importance
was close to my heart
Each and every day.
But as I saw it
everyday
The little pebble
changed.
It was now
a beautiful gem
Priceless
Sent from Above.
Gleaming
in radiant colors,
I began to feel
Happiness and Love.
Within this Gem
Is held the Future
Filled with mysteries
To Come.
