So the flying chipmunk Decided to teach them Day and Night. This Chipmunk's Name is Darold. Can perform A stunt or two. He flies straight up And soars straight down Does best when The sky is blue. Darold is so patient With the cats and Dogs in town. They try to take Off in flight But some of them Fall down. The rabbits are Slow to take off Their ears get In the way. They changed their minds Took off their wings And went back into The fields to play. So Darold, the chipmunk Who has wings, Went back up Into the skies. If you listen close, You can tell that He's singing When he flies. He twirls and dives, He floats and lands With the greatest Of ease. With every Chance he gets As unique as he is Will be gliding In the breeze. Copyright @2011 CMCastro

Heart warming in every way. Thanks for this wonderful HUB
Thank you for this. It reminds of a story I once heard of a bird that got stuck in a barn. A little boy felt very sorry for the bird because he knew the bird would die if he could not get him out of the barn. The boy made a wish and he became a bird. The boy/bird led the trapped bird out of the barn. The only what that he could lead the bird to safety was to become a bird. The little boy's name was Jesus.Thank you.
This is so good! I have to share it! Blessings!

Thank you, Everybody, that has read my story. There is a little history to this story. I originally wrote this story for a project in English class in Middle School. I never saved the original (gave it to a little first grader in my school) and so I had to depend on my memory banks to remember the story. All I know is that my own mother thought it was fantastic back when I originally wrote it, and so now you have this. I hope that more of you will read it and be blessed. CM
