Upon the misty sandy shore
The waves dance light and free
Along my tracks upon the sand
A man had greeted me.

His hair was long and flowing
His skin golden from the sun.
He smiled with peace
And said to me,
"I am the Chosen One."

I could feel my
Heart was racing
My knees had shook like fear.
I found that right
Before my eyes
The Son of God appeared.

But He reassured me.
He said, "Do not be afraid.
I am always here beside you.
Just follow what I say."

Then Jesus gently
Took my hand
As I was led to the tide
We knelt upon the sand.

We prayed unto the Father
For the Holy Spirit from above.
He asked that
I Receive the spiritual gifts
Of Wisdom and of Love.

Then He filled
His palm with water
Baptized me with
His very Hand.
And said, "Go and tell about me
In every part of land."

I responded with elation,
Not knowing what to say.
Yet I realized
That Jesus is the Truth,
the Life and the Way.

Jesus is there beside me
In joy and all through pain.
I know that through my faith
He will be back again.

So I ran across the Shore
With the Holy Spirit
In my Heart.
Knowing that my Lord
And I Will Never Part.

You have a way of expression through your poems that I do not have but that I enjoy reading. As God blessed the pen in your hand may you be inspired to keep writing poems.

Very beautiful words Twin Sis and certainly one of your best poems in my opinion. That was an awesome and inspiring piece and I'm sure it will inspire many others too!

I think this is what you're very passionate about in life and you should focus more energy on writing on what you love most. I am sure if you do then who knows what 2011 might bring to you! Keep being inspired and keep writing!

God bless you Twin Sis!
